Chiba · Kanto
The largest waterfall on the Boso Peninsula, in Otaki Town's Yoro Valley — a ~30m-high, ~100m-long 'nametaki' (sloped, sliding-rock cascade) rather than a sheer drop, with a riverside promenade alongside it. One of Chiba's few genuine mountain-valley/nature landscapes, famous for autumn foliage (late Nov-early Dec).
Usual hours — confirm with the official site for holidays + seasonal closures.
How to get there
Local bus (~15 min) toward Awamata; seasonal shuttle buses run from Ōhara Station in autumn. By car: ~22km from Ichihara-Tsurumai IC.
