牛久大仏

Ibaraki · Kanto

A 120m bronze Amida Buddha statue (with pedestal), one of the tallest statues in the world (Guinness-recognized as tallest bronze Buddha at time of completion, 1995). An interior elevator rises to an observation floor at 85m with windows set into the statue's chest, overlooking the Kanto Plain.
