A 1.3 km riverside greenway along the former Negawa stream in southern Tachikawa, and one of the city's finest cherry-blossom spots with around 500 sakura. In bloom the water mirrors the blossoms and falling petals form drifting "hana-ikada" rafts; boardwalks, ponds and wildlife zones make it a pleasant year-round stroll.
