Kirifuri Waterfall drops about 75 metres in two tiers through a forested valley in Nikko National Park, viewed from a purpose-built observation deck a short walk from the road. Its name means 'falling mist', for the spray thrown off the lower tier. The surrounding maples turn in late October and early November.
