A Shinto shrine enshrining deities from the Grand Shrine of Ise, built in 1880 as "O-Ise-sama in Tokyo" so residents could worship without traveling. It hosted Japan's first Shinto-style wedding ceremony in 1901 and relocated to its current Iidabashi site in 1928 after the Great Kanto Earthquake.
