Hitachi Seaside Park

Hitachi Seaside Park is a vast coastal park in Ibaraki laid out over rolling hills, with cycling paths, a small amusement area and the remnants of an abandoned rocket base adding a unique historical element. Its flower planting changes through the year: around 10 million nemophila turn the Miharashi hill blue in late April, and the same slope burns red with kochia in October.
