Tokyo Camii is the largest mosque in Japan, an Ottoman-style building in Yoyogi-Uehara whose prayer hall is free to enter and open to visitors 10:00–18:00 daily, from 14:00 on Fridays because of Friday prayers. Shoes come off in the prayer hall, headscarves are lent free at the entrance, and dress covering arms and legs is required. Free guided tours in Japanese run on weekends and public holidays at about 14:30.
