Akihabara's Electric Town is the blocks of shops immediately around Akihabara Station, stacked floor by floor with electronics, second-hand components, anime and manga retail, arcades and maid cafes. The streets are free to walk and there is no single opening time — each shop sets its own, most trading from late morning into the evening. Allow about 90 minutes.
