Rinnoji Temple
輪王寺Tochigi · Kanto
Rinnoji is Nikko's principal Buddhist temple, and its Sanbutsudo hall holds the three large gilded Buddha statues the temple is known for. Admission to the hall is ¥400 for adults, with combination tickets covering the treasure house and garden running up to ¥1,000, and it opens 8:00–16:00. It stands on the wooded approach to Toshogu, about 30 minutes' walk from Tobu-Nikko Station.
