Perched on the Yamate bluff above the port, this park was once part of Yokohama's foreign settlement and today mixes formal gardens with Taisho-era buildings like the British House Yokohama. Quiet benches look out over Yokohama Bay and the Bay Bridge, a sharp contrast to the crowded waterfront promenade below in Minato Mirai. Its English rose beds are at their fullest in mid-May and again in October.
