Umeda Sky Building

梅田スカイビル

Osaka · Kansai

The Umeda Sky Building is two towers joined at the top by a ring-shaped rooftop observatory open to the air. The Floating Garden Observatory costs ¥2,000 for adults and runs 9:30 AM to 10:00 PM with last entry at 10:00 PM, which makes it one of the few Osaka viewpoints that still works late in the evening.

Why we picked it

Many travelers focus on more traditional attractions, overlooking this modern architectural gem.
