Senjokaku (Toyokuni Shrine) & the Five-Storey Pagoda
千畳閣（豊国神社）・五重塔Hiroshima · Chugoku
A vast, open-sided wooden pavilion commissioned by Toyotomi Hideyoshi in 1587 and left unfinished at his death, standing beside a vermilion 27.6m five-storey pagoda from 1407 on a low hill above Itsukushima Shrine.
