A municipal aquarium on the western edge of Miyajima's port town, home to around 350 species and 15,000 creatures of the Seto Inland Sea. Highlights include an oyster-farming exhibit, playful Asian small-clawed otters, finless porpoises and a popular sea-lion show. It occupies two floors divided into roughly 15 themed zones.
