The black-walled Crow Castle, originally built 1590-1597 by Ukita Hideie; the wooden keep was destroyed in the June 1945 air raid and rebuilt in ferro-concrete in 1966, now housing a museum on castle and Ikeda-clan history plus a rooftop viewing deck.
