A 469.5m dormant volcano and the newest volcanic landform in the Kansai region, with a walkable crater rim about 750m around and 40m deep, surrounded by a highland plateau used for skiing, paragliding and hiking.

How to get there
From JR Ebara Station, take the Zentan Bus toward Kannabe Onsen Yutorogi-mae (about 30 minutes); the Mt. Kannabe trailhead is a 3-minute walk from the bus stop.
