Niseko Village Ski Resort

ニセコビレッジスキーリゾート

Hokkaido

Ski season here runs late November to early April — Niseko Village closes earliest of the four Niseko United resorts, and the mountain reopens for its green season on 1 July. In winter it is the quietest and most tree-lined of the Niseko mountains, with night skiing from mid-December and ski-in accommodation at its base. In summer the PURE adventure park (zip-line, rail slider, mountain biking) and two golf courses take over, but April to June is a genuine shoulder gap with little running.

Why it's hidden

Many travelers flock to larger resorts, overlooking the unique charm of Niseko Village.
