Sapporo Art Park is an outdoor sculpture museum in the wooded hills south of Sapporo, where around 70 works stand along walking trails through the forest. The outdoor museum closes for the winter from 4 November to 28 April — under snow the sculptures are reachable only on a booked snowshoe walk — while the indoor Sapporo Art Museum and the craft studios stay open all year.
