Ebisu Rock and Daikoku Rock
えびす岩・大黒岩Hokkaido
Ebisu Rock and Daikoku Rock are two small sea stacks standing in shallow water a short distance off the Shiraiwa shore in Yoichi, named after two of the seven gods of fortune. Their paired shapes have also earned them the local name meoto-iwa, husband-and-wife rocks, and they are counted among the eight scenic views of Yoichi. They are seen from a pull-in on National Route 229 and need only a brief stop.
