Hokkaido
A ski mountain in central Hokkaido built around two glass towers on an otherwise empty plateau, reached by its own JR station. The skiing runs down a north-facing slope with a long gondola and a set of tree-run zones opened to skiers rather than closed off, and the resort's other winter draw is the Unkai Terrace's winter counterpart and an ice village built fresh each season.
