Kamui Ski Links spreads twenty-five courses down a single broad face south-west of Asahikawa, served by one long gondola that reaches the top in about eight minutes. It is the everyday hill for Asahikawa's own skiers rather than a destination resort, which is why the queues stay short on days when Niseko is packed, and the dry inland snow is the same air mass that gives Asahikawa its winter reputation.
