Michi no Eki Furubira Tarako Museum is a roadside station on National Route 229 in Furubira, built around the town's principal product, tarako cod roe. It combines a produce shop, a restaurant and a takeaway counter with exhibition and workshop space explaining how the roe is salted and processed, and it opened in April 2025. Opening hours are shorter from November to March than in the main April-to-October season.
