Kongorinji Temple
金剛輪寺Shiga · Kansai
The middle temple of the Kotosanzan trio, approached along a stone path climbing several hundred metres between rows of small jizo figures each wearing a red pinwheel. Its main hall survived Nobunaga's burning of the mountain and is a National Treasure.
