The outer of Ise Jingu's two primary shrine complexes, enshrining Toyouke-Omikami, goddess of food, agriculture and industry, who provides sacred meals to Amaterasu at Naiku 6km away. Old-growth forest setting, the same 20-year rebuilding tradition (shikinen sengu) and shinmei-zukuri architecture as Naiku, with the adjacent Sengukan museum.
