Sada Shrine
佐太神社Shimane · Chugoku
A Matsue shrine built in the same rare Taisha-zukuri architectural style as Izumo Taisha, with three side-by-side main halls (Important Cultural Property, 1807). Home to Sada Shin Noh, ritual purification dances performed every September 24-25 that were inscribed on the UNESCO Representative List of Intangible Cultural Heritage in 2011.
