Onbashi Natural Stone Bridge (Taishaku-kyo Gorge)

A limestone natural arch spanning the Taishaku River, 90m long and one of the largest natural bridges in Japan, formed by the collapse of a limestone cave roof. It is a Designated Natural Monument of Japan and the centerpiece of the 18km Taishaku-kyo Gorge in the Chugoku Mountains. Best timed for spring (fresh greenery) and Autumn (foliage, Oct-Nov).
