A hill-top observation tower above the fishing town of Rausu on the Shiretoko peninsula's wild eastern side, with sweeping views across the Nemuro Strait to Russian-administered Kunashiri Island. Small exhibits inside cover the Northern Territories. The strait fills with drift ice in winter, visible from the deck.
