Shinsaibashi-suji is a covered shopping arcade in central Osaka lined with department stores, fashion chains and tax-free shops, most of them trading 11:00 AM–8:00 PM. Because the arcade is roofed along its whole length it stays usable in rain, which makes it a reliable wet-weather substitute.
