Hokkaido
Aikoku Station is a former station of the national Hiroo Line in southern Obihiro, kept as a transport memorial hall since the line closed in 1987. The building displays tickets, photographs and panels on the history of the line, and a steam locomotive stands outside on a preserved length of track. Its name means land of love, and the ticket printed from here to Kofuku Station became a national craze in the 1970s.
