Umekita Park is the green heart of Grand Green Osaka, a large redevelopment opened in 2024 on former rail-yard land directly connected to JR Osaka Station. A wide lawn plaza, water features and planted walkways sit immediately outside the country's busiest western terminal, with cafes and the JAM BASE complex along the edges. Its cherry trees and seasonal planting change through the year.
