Hokkaido
A two-mountain resort in the Akaigawa caldera behind Otaru, with ten lifts and gondolas over twenty-odd marked courses and one of the longest seasons in Hokkaido — snow usually holds from late November into early May. The bowl sits high enough and far enough inland to take heavy, dry falls, and the Asari and Nagamine peaks are linked at the top, so a run can cross the whole resort.
