Uradome Coast

A roughly 15km ria coastline of wave-eroded cliffs, sea caves, tunnels, and pine-covered islets east of the Tottori Sand Dunes, nicknamed 'San-in Matsushima'. Designated a Place of Scenic Beauty since 1928, it's a popular base for glass-bottom sightseeing boats and sea-kayak tours. Best timed for spring through autumn (boat tours run March-November).
