Tanukikoji Shopping Street
狸小路商店街Hokkaido
Tanukikoji is a covered shopping arcade running seven blocks through central Sapporo, with around 200 shops, restaurants and cafes beneath its roof. Because it is roofed the whole way, it stays walkable in snow and rain; the arcade is free and open at all hours, though individual shops keep their own.
