Kofuku Station is a preserved railway station in the far south of Obihiro, kept as a small park since the national Hiroo Line closed in 1987. The wooden station building and platform remain in place along with two orange diesel railcars, and the walls inside the building are papered with name cards left by visitors. Its name is written with the characters for happiness, which made it the destination half of the 1970s ticket craze that paired it with Aikoku Station.
