Korankei Canyon
香嵐渓Aichi · Chubu
Korankei is a wooded river canyon in eastern Aichi, crossed by the red Taigetsukyo bridge and threaded with walking paths up the Tomoe River gorge. Around 4,000 maples of some eleven varieties fill the valley, planted from the 17th century onward; they turn through November and are illuminated after dark.
