Ishiuchi Maruyama Ski Resort
石打丸山スキー場Niigata · Chubu
A 236-hectare mountain above Ishiuchi with 23 courses falling straight towards the Uonuma rice plain, so the runs face out over the valley rather than into a bowl. A new gondola and a terrace café were built at the top in recent seasons, and the night skiing — lit until 20:00 — is among the largest lit areas in the country.
