Kurobedaira

Kurobedaira is a saddle-shaped terrace at 1,828 m sandwiched between the Tateyama Ropeway and the underground Kurobe Cable Car. Its rooftop observation deck faces the steep east wall of Mount Tateyama and the Tanbodaira basin, and an adjoining alpine botanical garden showcases high-mountain plants along short paved paths. It is a natural rest stop where riders pause between the two lifts.

- Open only while the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route operates — it is a station on the route itself, so it has no access outside the operating season.
- The operator publishes the 2026 season as "2026.4.15 - 11.30"; the 2027 opening date is not yet published — re-check alpen-route.com.
