A free roadside viewpoint on the Yamanami Highway (Route 11) between Yufuin and Beppu, at about 680m elevation. Its name means 'mist stand' — on clear, cold mornings the entire Yufuin basin below fills with fog, visible in a sweeping panorama from the platform.
