Keta Taisha is one of the principal shrines of the Noto Peninsula, standing in a sacred forest, and it opens 8:30 AM–4:30 PM. Its annual lantern festival fills the grounds with light. The shrine came through the January 2024 Noto earthquake largely intact and reopened to worshippers the following day, though three of its Important Cultural Property halls are under a multi-year structural restoration and may be covered or fenced.
