A 513m hilltop viewpoint within Sobo-Katamuki Quasi-National Park, offering panoramic views over the Takachiho basin, the five peaks of Mount Aso to the west, and the Sobo mountain range to the north. From mid-September to late November, calm mornings can produce a dramatic 'sea of clouds' filling the valley below.
