A dramatic 130m basalt headland on the Echizen coast north of Tojinbo, marked by a white lighthouse and cut by wind and wave-carved formations along the shoreline. From late December to February the surrounding cliffs bloom with wild Echizen suisen (narcissus), one of Japan's three great naturalized narcissus colonies.
