Gensou no Mori
幻想の森Yamagata · Tohoku
A grove of cedars above the Tozawa gorge, some of them a thousand years old and grown into low, many-trunked shapes unlike ordinary planted cedar. A short boardwalk runs between them and the road in is single-track for several kilometres.
