Suzu Cape Noto is located at the tip of the Noto Peninsula and features a stunning window-shaped rock formation that frames the beautiful coastal scenery. This area is also known for its traditional salt-making techniques, which have been practiced for centuries, providing a unique glimpse into local culture. The cape and its lighthouse are open and the roadside station at the trailhead has reopened, but this is deep in the worst-hit part of Suzu where food, fuel and accommodation are still very limited, so arrive self-sufficient.
