Ozenuma Lake
尾瀬沼Fukushima · Tohoku
A tranquil montane lake at about 1,660 m on the eastern side of Oze National Park, ringed by marsh and boardwalk and reflecting the cone of Mount Hiuchi, Tohoku's highest peak. A Ramsar-listed wetland since 2005, its ~7 km lakeside loop passes the Ozenuma Visitor Center and lakeside huts and is quieter than the Ozegahara marsh to the west.

- No admission fee to Oze National Park. In Aug-Sep 2026 a VOLUNTARY ¥500 'entry cooperation fee' trial runs at the Hatomachi Pass and Oshimizu trailheads (free for junior-high and under). Access costs (shuttle bus, parking) are separate.
