Daizenji Temple
大善寺Yamanashi · Chubu
A temple in the vineyards east of Kofu whose main hall, built in 1286, is a National Treasure and the oldest wooden building in the prefecture. Its Yakushi Buddha is carved holding a bunch of grapes, and the temple claims the origin of grape growing in the valley.
