Hakuba Goryu Snow Resort

Hakuba Goryu rises above the Escal Plaza base lodge at the southern end of the valley and is lift-linked to the neighbouring Hakuba47 area, so a single ticket covers both faces of the same mountain — Goryu's wide groomed Toomi and Iimori slopes on one side, Hakuba47's steeper tree-lined runs on the other. The Telecabine gondola climbs from the base to the Alps Daira mid-station, where a terrain park and a long beginner boulevard sit beneath the Goryu peaks. Lifts usually run from early December into April, with dates set by snowfall each season; the base lodge holds an onsen that non-skiers can use.
