Kokawa-dera Temple

Kokawa-dera Temple is the head temple of the Kokawa Kannon sect located in Kinokawa City, Wakayama Prefecture. It is said to have been founded in the first year of the Hōki era (770) and holds the heritage designation of Special Place of Scenic Beauty and Important Cultural Property.
