Miyajihama Beach sits at the base of the famous Hikarino Michi (光の道 / Road of Light) — the straight path from Miyajidake Shrine that aligns perfectly with the setting sun in February and October, creating a golden corridor of light stretching all the way to the sea. Outside those peak dates, the wide sandy beach offers a calm local scene with good sunsets year-round. Summer draws swimmers and families; the rest of the year it is quiet.
