Iwamotoyama Park sits on a 193-metre hill above Fuji city, laid out with a lawn, a plum orchard and three observation decks. The decks look across the Suruga bay to Izu and Hakone, with Mount Fuji directly behind the park. Its 400-odd plum trees of about thirty varieties flower from January into March.
