The Asama Jomon Museum is a town-run museum in Miyota that pairs the eruption history of Mount Asama with the Jomon-period settlements that grew on its lower slopes. Excavated pottery and stone tools from sites in the surrounding area are shown alongside material on how volcanic activity shaped the land people farmed and lived on. It occupies part of the Ecole Miyota complex, a few minutes' walk from Miyota Station.
