Matsumoto Folkcraft Museum
松本民芸館Nagano · Chubu
Matsumoto Mingei-kan was founded in 1962 by Taro Maruyama, the owner of the Chikiriya craft shop, and holds around 6,800 pieces of folk craft — Shinshu ceramics, household tools and furniture alongside work from elsewhere in Asia and Europe — in a converted storehouse east of the city, at 1313-1 Satoyamabe.
